Roof faces, pitch and panel positions come from aerial imagery of your actual roof (via the Google Solar API), so the system size is specific to your home, not a rule of thumb. Savings follow the MCS MGD 003 self-consumption method that installers use, at current Ofgem and export rates, and the price is a typical installed-price band from published UK installation data. Where imagery isn't available we fall back to your property type and location. It's a strong starting estimate rather than a final figure — an installer's home survey confirms the exact numbers before you commit to anything.
